Norfolk’s Highbridge Fishery has moved to the top of the big roach angler’s must fish list after producing a dream fish over the magical 4lb barrier, plus another over 3lb in the same session.

The historic catch fell to Bedford big fish angler Mark McIennan, who initially adopted classic maggot feeder tactics over a two day session.

However, after having problems with perch taking the baits, he switched to boilie tactics and was rewarded handsomely with fish of 3lb 4oz and the mighty 4lb 1oz specimen, the fish of a lifetime.
