FOLLOWING on from the success of the 2002 Anglesey Boat Festival, holiday company GO Angling has recently announced dates for 2003.
The event is scheduled for October 11/12, 2003 and entry has been increased to 144 this to cater for expected increased demand.
Fishing will be based at the Castle town of Beaumaris and first prize in the event is a whopping £700, with £400 and £200 for second and third respectively.

There are numerous table prizes on offer along with a raffle and four man and three man blind drawn team events. The two-man team is an optional extra.

Top Junior and Top Lady will each receive a new boat rod courtesy of Taylor-Made-Rods of Bolton.
Entry to the festival is £70, which covers the boat positions for two days. Each trip will be eight hours long of which six hours will be competition. The rules are straightforward, with one point per fish and no size limits.
