The tons are starting to flow at Tunnel Barn Farm, with 11 reported in open matches in the last week, topped by an impressive 178-11-0 in the Wednesday Open on New Pool to Kingsmill Redditch rod Paul Newell.

Paul fished bread and slop at nine metres up in the water for a bag of F1s, stockie carp and skimmer bream from peg 33 and Paul also won the Saturday match on Top Pool 31 using the same method for 125-10-0. Plus he completed a great few days with third on Sunday with 106-5-0 on Extension. Other than those catches, pellet has been doing most of the damage with Dave Chapman (114-9-0), Dennis Lutwyche (108-14-0), Rob Swain (101-7-0); Pete Rice (134-4-0 and 159-5-0); Pete Hancox (106-5-0); Stu Palser (122-12-0) and David James (104-8-0) the other anglers to top the magical 100lb mark.
