At 62lb on the nose, this huge specimen is the biggest known carp in the UK.
Builder Danny Harmer caught the fish, known as the ‘Big Girl’, during a four-day session at Kent’s Elphicks Fisheries.

Danny located a clean area at the bottom of a drop-off towards the middle of the venue’s North Lake in 10 feet of water and spodded in a couple of kilos of particles.
He caught nothing for two nights, but continued introducing his mix in the same quantity every day, and finally tempted the fish on 15mm Cell boilie.
