Meadowlands Fishery is another Midlands commercial that’s just started its winter series of matches and the first one this weekend was won by England international Darren Cox, who opted for a chopped worm, pellet and caster approach on peg 12 on Lambsdown for an impressive 64-4-0 bag of roach, perch and skimmers.

Packington Vets regular Eddie Keane also had an enjoyable day’s sport, fishing caster for quality roach at 11 metres for 45-0-0 and second spot. Starlets rod Brad Titmas was third on 41-14-0 and there were three more weights over 36lb.
