Great bank or bait fishing on offer.

Grafham Water originally opened in 1966 for water supply. Covering an area of 1,500 acres it can be somewhat daunting for the visiting angler, but the wardens and tackle shop are always on hand to give advice.

The lodge features excellent facilities. As well as a very well stocked shop, selling a wide range of clothing, tackle and fly-tying materials, there is an excellent restaurant.
The restaurant is open early every day – perfect for a full English before taking to the water!
There is a fleet of 58 petrol-engine boats that are available for hire on either a full-day, half-day or evening basis.

Hot Drifts
Obviously the drifts depend on the wind direction. However, when the wind suits, Simon suggests the following favourites:
B buoy to K buoy
N buoy to M buoy
S buoy to the aerator tower
The towers are noted hotspots for large predatory fish. The fry find shelter in these areas and the trout, pike, perch and zander often follow!
