Angel of the North Match and Catch report to 15th April 07
Bagging up at Angel as water temperatures increase, all lakes fishing as if it is July,
As water temperatures are rising anglers are needing to change both tactics and hook baits used. ie tactics fishing tight to the margins, water depth 2ft 8 inches in depth. Feed baits Angel feed pellets high protein are working very well especially with sweet flavourings added..
Hook baits best productive– maggots especially with sweet flavouring added, sweetcorn again with flavourings added. Worm tail (dendra), Pellets are doing well along with jellets
The evening after work cost cutter fishing ticket has started from 4pm till closing at £4.00 a ticket.
