Not a big turnout but all the anglers fishing enjoyed some good sport from all over the lake, in top spot Pete Ellis fished pole out at 12m with pellet and down the margin with corn, feeding 4mm sinking pellets regular to keep the fish feeding, he had over 30 carp – 5lb from both lines throughout the match. In 2^nd Pete Hodgetts fished a ground bait feeder and meat cast tight to the island for 8 carp – 3lb a change to pole and paste later in the match brought him 7 more bigger fish – 9lb

With the big carp not putting in an appearance it turned out to be a very close match, John drew hot peg 42 and fished the usual margin tactics but the big fish failed to show, a change to his pre baited swim at 12m he fish soft pellet on the hook for skimmers and small carp – 2lb. 2^nd placed Lee fished pole and caster long at 16m for a nice mixed net of Roach, Skimmers, small Carp and Tench
