Fishery owner Mick Langton had his first 100lb at his fishery having 40 carp on the method feeder and corn cast to the island, and then 6 more carp – 6lb on the pole and paste fished down the margin in the last hour of the match weighing a total of 113lb 6oz. But it wasn’t good enough for 1^st place that went again to inform Carl Brown drawn at peg 38 he started on the feeder to the island after a slow start and only 3 carp he changed to the pole and paste fished out and down the margin he finished with 30 carp – 8lb, 6lb to spare and a total of 119lb 15oz

After nearly mastering the Holmedale lake Carl decided to try his luck on the Sherwood Lake and the luck stayed with him when he drew the end peg 63 with the wind blowing into it, he fished the pole and paste up to the island and down the margin, ending with a nice net of small carp – 2lb chub and tench – 1lb. 2^nd placed John fished down the margin at peg 42 on the pole and corn for carp and skimmers his biggest carp went 6lb

Dave fished pole paste and corn out and down the margins to catch carp – 7lb steady throughout the match to finish with 71lb 15oz winning this very close match. Just behind was Pete Ellis with 63lb 12oz of carp – 5lb caught on pole and corn fished down the margins
