Rob arrived at his peg just as the match started having been at work in the morning, he opted for one method the pole fished at 11m with corn and pellet on the hook over a bed of pellets he was into a carp within 10 mins of him starting and never looked back having a bite every put to just edge in front of Jason Singlehurst weighing over 25 carp for a total of 82lb. Jason drawn at 21 fished pole at 11m and ground bait feeder cast to the island with corn on the hook he had 39 carp – 6lb with most of his fish being caught on the feeder.
