Dave Madin is back on top form having back to back wins, this time at unrated peg 33 he fished his usual long pole and corn method over pellets on two lines catching steady all match he ended with 20+ carp – 8lb for 81lb 5oz. 2nd John Holmes fished a small ground bait feeder and meat cast long to the island he had just 10 bites and made them all count landing 10 carp – 9lb for a total of 69lb 9oz. Just behind Norman Powers fished straight lead and pellet cast to the old lily pads for 15 carp – 10lb.

Dave fished long pole and corn over pellets at 14m he had a carp on his first drop in but had to wait 2 hours for his next bit then it was hectic having 29 more the biggest going 6lb weighing in a fantastic 96lb 2oz. Last weeks winning peg was drawn by Pete Hodgetts finishing 2nd just a couple of fish behind Dave he fished pole and pellet down the margin for 24 carp is biggest being a 10lb mirror.

Lee was the only angler to catch carp fishing pole corn and pellet into the corner he had just 6 carp the biggest being 10lb 4oz ending with a total of 47lb 7oz. All the rest of the weights were made up of skimmers with Dynamite Mayfair rod John Holmes topping them with 27lb 7oz of pole fished skimmers – 1lb all caught on the pellet.
