Fish tight to the island on pole or use Method feeder on the wider pegs (12 to 16, 29 & 30). Canal Pool (24 pegs) is new to the village, and with well-spaced pegs and suitability for disabled anglers, this pool has already proved to be immensely popular. Fish pole at 8/10 metres at the bottom of the far shelf, using maggot or corn (or a combination of both), aiming to catch mirrors and commons from 6oz to 1lb-plus, along with chub that go from 8oz to 1lb. Day tickets are £7 (that includes the use of a keepnet) with concessions £5 during the week and breakfast is served at weekends.
