Steve drew 35 on the road side and opted to fish a small method feeder cast tight to the end of the island, fishing with hair rigged meat he never looked back landing over 40 carp – 5lb and a total of 111lb 4oz. Craig drawn on peg 1 with the wind blowing into it, he fished pole and pellet out at 12m and down the margins he had a carp most puts out having 30 stocky carp – 1lb and 9 proper carp -9lb.This again was a very good match through-out 31lb 4oz was needed to get 12^th place.

Most of the skimmers were occupied with spawning that left the tench a free hand to feed, in 1^st place Lee fished the pole and pellet for the first hour without a bite but a change to sweet corn brought a bite and a small tench was netted, after that he caught steady landing tench – 2lb roach and small carp – 1lb for a total of 41lb 3oz. 2^nd place went to team mate Sean fishing pole and caster for a mixed net of roach, rudd and tench  and a total of 26lb 13oz
