Stewart fished the pole and paste long at 14m for 22 carp – 8lb at peg 34 just finishing in front of Alan Warren by a pound and half landing 76lb 1oz. Alan fished a pellet feeder and corn cast tight to the corner in the bay at peg 20 landing 30+ carp – 5lb steady all match. 3rd place went to Martin Brown fishing the pole and pellet for carp – 6lb at peg 38.

Another good turn out for this popular Wednesday open, with just one fish separating the top 3. Nottingham’s Ray Redwood fished the pole and pellet at 13m from peg 17 catching steady all match he landed 20 carp – 8lb in his 67lb 4oz net, 2nd place and also from Nottingham Kristian Powers fished the method feeder and corn cast tight to the island at peg 36 landing 21 carp – 9lb.
