There was another cracking turnout for this bank holiday Friday field and some tremendous weights with the top 3 all breaking the ton barrier. Jamie started on paste over hemp at 12m and later switched to corn and meat over groundbait for 20 carp to 12lb

Gordon also fished into the margins with success and another ton plus weight. Gordon used corn and catmeat over groundbait and pellets for carp to 10lb

The gale force winds forced Steve Baraclough to fish a short pole line using meat over pellets and then late on he fished corn to the margins. Steve netted carp and skimmers to take first place with 90-10-0.

Pete Stanley took second place with a net of mainly carp taken at 6m on the pole using corn over feed pellets and ground bait.

The windy conditions made fishing difficult for this round of the MAP Leegem League. Rich Padderson made the most of what shelter he had and caught carp from the margins using corn over 6mm feed pellets to win this close match.

Kev Hardy fished a pellet feeder with 8mm banded pellet to the middle where he picked up enough carp to take second place on the day
