With lots of fish shallow Lee opted for luncheon meat up in the water at 13m. Feeding 12 pieces a chuck Lee caught carp to 8lb steadily throughout the match

Andy caught majority of his fish on caster and corn over groundbait fished into the margins. Andy caught carp into double figures.

Colin Perry continued where he left off last week with another victory.Drawn on outer 71 Colin fished worms, maggots and groundbait on short pole for a 50/50 split of carp to 7lb and skimmers to 3lb

Pete fished groundbait feeder with corn and pellet and later switched to short pole and margins with the same baits for carp to 9lb

With the carp cruising around in the upper layers shallow fishing was the order of the day. Pete Miles fished up in the water at depths ranging from 1ft to 4ft for 30lb of skimmers and 6 carp to 8lb.Feeding pellets and meat at 13m on the pole

With the carp showing signs that they might finish spawning this weekend by shoaling up in big areas, Steve Baraclough took advantage of a good draw and put in a magnificent display of shallow pole fishing. Steve chalked up another winning double ton plus weight of carp all caught on 6mm luncheon meat.

Lee Hewison took second spot fishing similar tactics to Steve, and finished up with his second ton plus weight in a week on Moat Pool, with fish too 10lbs caught at 12m.

Paul McIntyre edged third place with just over the ton mark, also fishing shallow on the pole, but used pellets and hemp as baits.

Nick Speed bounced back from a frustrating Saturday match with a second Sunday Open victory in a row. Nick fished his favoured luncheon meat shallow and on the drop at 13m and netted carp and skimmers in his winning ton plus net.

Andy Sellars fished a pellet waggler and a pole shallow to pick up decent carp throughout the match to edge second spot with just over the ton mark.

Steve Clark fished small bits of paste to catch mainly small stockie carp and finished third place overall.
