A week of full spawning with the lakes like a Jacuzzi with fish rolling in the reeds in large spawning balls,
Yet we have had a lake record of 154lb 1oz on Lookout by Chris Owers on paste on Sunday
And 90lb 10oz on Bowes on Saturday by jnr Jonny Maven on peg 22
Pleasure angler Tod Moffatt from Newcastle caught from 7am till 8pm and had 81 carp to 10lb and 40lb of silvers , and Neil Browns son had 72 carp by 6pm
Paste in the margins is doing the best at the moment. With maggot then pellet, worm and caster all also catching.
