A lack of anglers meant more room and more fish to share round and the weights proved that, In top spot Martyn Brown had a slow start to the match, but in the last 3 hours  the  fish moved into the margins, fishing the pole and paste he landed a massive 251lb 5oz of carp – 8lb, In second place Lee fished the pole out at 6m with corn and later in the match down the margins landing 45 carp – 11lb for a total of 247lb 9oz, the other double ton weight was Mick Langton landing 46 carp – 7lb on the pole and corn and 202lb 3oz,

Fred struggled to catch the usual Ide and skimmers so he change to popped up bread fishing for the carp which paid off landing 13 carp – 12lb and putting a winning weight of 63lb 15oz on the scales.

Mick Brentnall stopped Martyn Browns domination of these Sunday eve matches fishing the pole and pellet out at 12m up in the water and down both margins with corn for carp – 8lb and a total of 170lb 5oz, but only 4lb behind was Martyn fishing the pole and paste down the margins for 166lb 7oz of carp – 9lb.
