REPORT
MOLANDS It has been a little tough on Molands this week although the later match on Wednesday fished brilliantly with lots of weights in excess of 60lb and up to 100lb. The F1’s are hit and miss at the moment leading to very mixed results. When they are having a go it is short pole with maggot or caster that is working best. The carp are showing on a few pegs to waggler/pellet or pellet feeder with pellet or boilies. Top pegs have been 2, 10, 15, 21 – 29, 33, 45 – 48 and 52 – 60.
GEARYS The bream and skimmer fishing has been the best part of Gearys this week with nets to 60lb in matches and bream to 5lb showing. Pole fished caster or pellet has accounted for the bigger bags and the high bank from 9 – 15 has been the best place to catch them. Carp have been showing with fish to 15lb+ featuring in match catches to around the 60lb mark. Bomb with pellet or boilies and the method feeder have produced the best results.
LITTLE GEARYS Match weights to over 60lb were best on Little Gearys this week and the fishing has been a little hard although fish are being caught from all areas. The best tactic has been fishing maggot or caster down the edge for F1’s and carp. A small pellet or method fished tight to the island is also catching a few fish. Top pegs have been 1 – 7, 15, 21 and 24 – 28.
GRATUITIES Carp to 10lb, bream to 5lb, tench to 4lb and plenty of skimmers and roach showing on Grats. The best area has been around pegs 6 – 11 with the fish pointing down that way with the wind. Pole fished caster, maggot or expander pellet has been best for mixed catches and waggler with corn or pellet fished to the island has been best for carp.
WILLOW This popular lake has been the pick of the pools this week with plenty of carp and F1’s in the 2 – 3lb bracket coming to either long pole fished shallow or a waggler tight up to the island. Best pegs are 1 – 6.
SIBLINGS A Pleasure anglers have enjoyed good sport particularly later in the day as the carp start go round the margins with meat the top bait and carp to double figures have come to this. In the matches long pole across to the far bank has caught F1’s, carp and ide with caster or meat both working.

SIBLINGS B The most consistent of the Siblings pools with plenty of F1’s, small carp, ide, tench and the odd bigger carp and barbel also showing. Pole fished pellet or maggot has been best fished tight up to the far bank. Best pegs have been on the point with 5 – 11 all producing.
