The Dynamite AT/CRT pairs competition made its way across the Irish sea to Edenderry and the Grand Canal. Sixteen eager anglers drew in very wet conditions, although the canal had a distinct lack of colour, which led to lower than expected weights.
On the day, it was local pairing Alan Larkin and Brian Kane who won the match with an impressive 3pts. Alan taking his section and the match with 2kg 660grams. This catch comprised of a small tench and silvers.
Second pairing on the day and narrowly missing out on qualification, was Connor Browne and Damien Maddocks. Damien won the B section with an impressive 2kg 600grams and was well backed up by Conor, who finished 4thin his section.
Rounding out the top three on the day was Jeff Walker and Mark Alcock, who amassed a combined 6pts.
Our thanks must go to Geoff Quinn and the helpers at Edenderry Coarse AC. Anglers are reminded that there are still plenty of tickets for the contest available HERE.
