MOLANDS . Fished hard this week with overnight frosts at the start of the week followed by the storms at the weekend and catches to around 20lb were best. Pole fished maggot or expander and the maggot feeder have been the main tactics at the moment for f1s and the odd carp.. Nets of silvers to double figures have been coming to maggot or pinkies fished over a dark ground bait.

GEARYS . Gone a lot tougher this week with nets to 50lb coming out but its been quite patchy. The method or banjo feeder with 4mm banded pellet ,dead reds or a small wafter on the hook has been the top tactic with pegs 9-13,18- 20 and 30-32 the most consistent pegs

LITTLE GEARYS The maggot feeder is starting to come into its own with nets to 50lb + being caught on it this week. Long pole with an expander pellet fished over micros or a few 4mm hard pellet and bomb with bread have also accounted for a few decent nets. Best pegs have been 7-13 and 21-29.

ANNIVERSARIES .Nets to over 30lb being caught in matches with pole fished maggot or pellet fished shallow or expander pellet, corn or dead reds fished over micros tight across to the features or down the margins has been the best approach .

SIBLINGS A Fishing a little tough with the water starting to clear with nets to around 40lb best and carp from 2-6lb and f1s to 5lb making up the catches. A pole approach is usually the best way to go but there have been some decent catches on a small method feeder fished across to the island or down the middle of the pool. Maggot fished short or pellet down the margins on the pole.

SIBLINGS B . Still fishing a little hard with nets to over 30lb made up of f1s from 2-4lbs showing along with some nice carp up to double figures coming to bread dobbed across to the far bank. Pegs 5-12 have been the most consistent and pole fished meat, maggot ,corn or banded hard pellet have all been worth a go.

GRATUITIES The bigger carp are coming to the waggler with pellet or a method feeder fished tight upto the island with pegs 8- 15 on the far side the most consistent area for carp from 3-10lbs. Nice mixed nets coming to maggot caster or expander pellet fished over micros fished down the middle of the pool .

WILLOW Nets to around 30lb best with plenty of small stockie carp showing along with f1s to 5lb. Pole fished pellet on the deck at 14m has been the top tactic but waggler or feeder to the island with banded pellet and down the margins with corn also doing well.
