Dudley’s Steve Broome is the new Angling Trust Individual champion following the match on the Staffs-Worcs Canal between Penkridge and Acton Trussell.
Steve, fishing for Dudley Bait and Tackle, drew peg 91 where he fished chopped worm and banked three chub, three bream plus skimmers and roach on pole-fished chopped worm and caster for 11kilos 600gr. It was only just enough though, as Richie Reynolds has 11kilo 600 from peg 58.
