We have great pleasure in announcing the inaugural British Catfish Championship and the Katmandoo Charity Catfish Shield will be taking place at the stunning Celtic Lakes Resort in West Wales.

The two competitions will run side by side this year with all competitors who have entered the Katmandoo shield, automatically entered into the British Catfish Championship. As well as the fishing competition itself, the venue will be open to the public on Wednesday 10th June and will be having trade stands, hog roast, casting competition, draws, a raffle and much more.

Everyone is welcome, so why not come along and support this fantastic event.

The competition will be a pair’s event run over two nights with four rods between each pair of fisherman. The event will be run over 48 hours starting on Tuesday morning, 9th June and concluding Thursday morning 11th June.
