Barry Duggan enjoyed what can only be described as a Red Letter week at Tunnel Barn Fishery. The Warwick Portobello rod managed to find the time to fish three opens at the Shrewley water – and won the lot – on three different lakes.

First up Barry weighed in 55-7-0 of F1s, carp, roach and bream on pole and pellet after drawing peg 14 on House Pool 1 in Monday’s match. That was 12lb clear of second placed Ron Notley.?
He had no reason to change tactics when he won from peg 25 on House Pool 2 in Wednesday’s match to win again, this time with 74-1-40. And in Sunday’s 36-pegger in form Barry made it a hat-trick after weighing in a 53lb mixed bag from peg 26 on New Pool, again on pole and pellet.
