With this Friday being Christmas Eve we’ve got a real treat in store. Keith will be joined by Arsenal and England goalkeeping legend David Seaman, a very competent and passionate angler. As well as having a bit of festive fun, they’ll be discussing David’s successes on the bank this year and passing on some sound advice.
If there’s anything you want to ask David or Keith please send your question in as soon as possible via an e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com.
Nigel Botherway gets out for a pike session with 2003 Rugby World Cup winner Richard Hill. Being a big rugby fan himself, Nigel jumped at the chance to go piking with the England star at the Royalty Fishery on the Hampshire Avon in Dorset, and it proved to be a very worthwhile trip.
With the country in the grip of more harsh weather, we take the opportunity to escape to the much more pleasant climate of Key West in Florida. You can see Keith in action in the hunt for tarpon during his trip to the sport fishing mecca earlier this year.
Keith will also be taking his weekly look at the sport you might be able to find around the UK. Fishing in these conditions is not for the faint-hearted but if you are intent on getting out over the Christmas period there’ll be sound advice on the best approach to take at some typical venues.
In next Friday’s show Keith will be marking New Year’s Eve with a review of 2010. We’ve seen some great day’s sport here on Tight Lines over the past year and Keith will be guiding you through a selection of the best of the action. Whether you’re a coarse, sea or game angler, there’ll be something for everyone.
Please keep the questions, and your photos for the ‘Young Angler of the Month’ competition, coming in via e-mail to tightlines@skysports.com.
And a reminder that if you do miss the broadcasts on Sky Sports, the whole programme will be available as a podcast after the show on Friday evening via our website – www.skysports.com/tightlines.
