IF you are looking for luxury accommodation in a picturesque setting and good fishing, all yours for the full duration of your holiday – then welcome to Les Gravelles, your very own private country estate with 3.5 acre carp lake, woodland walks, private swimming pool and comfortable villa style accommodation sleeping six.
The family can relax on sun loungers around the pool, or explore the woods and the streams, all whilst you are enjoying the sport of pulling out perch, roach and tench, or waiting for the sound of the buzzer, telling you that one of the many carp at Les Gravelles is about to give you a run for your money. The villa style property lies in its own grounds of 15 acres, surrounded by garden and woodlands, with no other buildings in site. There is plenty of space for children to play or enjoy the swimming pool, and you can spend as much time as you like fishing.

The Lake

places for carp to hide, you will enjoy the natural fishing experience at Les Gravelles. The lake offers the unknown, as prior to April 2005 the lake had hardly been fished for the previous eight years. Recent fishing has produced common carp to 14lb, mirror carp to 11lb, perch up to 2lb, roach and tench. The lake previously contained pike up to 28lb but these have not been fished for many years.

The Grounds
The grounds are protected by gates at the front of the property, with a long winding drive through the woods down to the villa and lake. You can roam in 15 acres of woodland where you will find a brook, and a filter

pool which feeds into the lake. As the woods have been left as a natural habitat you will find (or hear) plenty of wildlife, some of the natural residents of Les Gravelles are: lizards, coypu (who you will regularly see swimming across the lake) kingfisher, polecats and deer (both are very shy, you will be very honoured if you see these).

The Accommodation
The villa offers comfortable accommodation sleeping up to six people, and your own private swimming pool. Lounge/Diner, TV and CD player, and wood burning fireplace. Kitchen with gas cooker / hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee percolator, toaster etc. three bedrooms, each room has fully fitted wardrobes, one double bedroom has its own en-suite shower and washing facilities, the twin bedroom has its own en-suite shower and washing facilities, and the second double bedroom is located next door to the family bathroom. Family bathroom consisting of sink, bath, toilet, and shower, plus, a separate toilet situated between the two en-suite bedrooms.
