THERE’S a grand up for grabs for the winner of the forthcoming Swansea Bay Cod Festival thanks to local sponsors Gladiator Commercial, a specialist van insurer.
The event, which takes place on January 5 at the Swansea Yacht and Sub Aqua Club, is one of the biggest angling competitions of the year in South Wales attracting over 300 boat anglers and with more than 20 prizes for winners of the various categories.
Steve Jones, managing director at Gladiator Commercial, will be there to present the prizes. He said: “The Swansea Bay Cod Festival is going from strength to strength.

“As a local employer this is a great chance for us to get involved and support local events. Last year the competition attracted almost 300 entries in nearly 100 boats. We are looking forward to being a part of it again.”
