Greys Carp and Coarse Category Manager, Andy Charlton has landed a catch of a lifetime on a recent trip to Cumbrian Waters.
Andy landed the PB 27lb 4oz Pike using a prototype phase 2 Greys Prowla bait rod, rigged with a Prowla bait slider on 40lb braid, quick change in-line sinkers and a standard size four hook trace.

“Dry rod tests in the office are critical and serve an important purpose, but there’s nothing like actually using a product in the environment in which it has been designed to be used. To hook and land such an impressive fish on a new prototype Prowla rod was real heart in the mouth stuff! But the rod more than comfortably handled it and we are all extremely excited with our future developments, and with the ongoing success of Prowla.”
