Fox Match has agreed to sponsor West-Midlands based match squad, Tipton. The 16-strong squad, who was previously sponsored by Maver, will continue with its bait sponsorship by Van Den Eynde. The team will now be known as Fox Match Tipton Van Den Eynde. The sponsorship starts with immediate effect.

Tipton compete in the Warwickshire Division of the Angling Times Team Championships against the likes of Shakespeare and Drennan North West. Tipton has actually made the Team Champs Final five times out of the last seven years, further enforcing its position as one of the country’s best match teams. It also competes in the Super League and fishes in many other leagues around the West Midlands. Captained by Dave Hughes, the team is made up of a mixture of canal and commercial water anglers.

Steve Cole, Fox International media and publicity manager, commented: “We’ve been looking to sponsor a top-flight match team for a while. When the opportunity to sponsor Tipton came up, we knew straight away that this was the team for us. They are 100% professional and the whole team is highly respected around the country.”
