Fox International is pleased to announce that with immediate affect it will be sponsoring the National Federation of Sea Anglers (NFSA) Shore Angling Team. The team will now be known as: ‘NFSA Fox Sea Team England’.
This move underlines Fox’s commitment to the sea market by sponsoring one of the world’s best sea angling teams. The England Shore Angling Team has won the World Champs no fewer than four times, with two silvers and three bronze medals to their name. Individually Chris Clark has a gold, silver and bronze medal, while Ian Golds has a silver and bronze medal. Ian is currently ranked number 1 in the World and Chris Clark is number 23.
Fox International media and publicity manager, Steve Cole, said: “Fox International is currently investing heavily in a new range of sea products to be launched throughout 2008 and into 2009. We are committed to growing in the sea market and see this involvement with the NFSA Shore Angling Team as being perfect to help take the brand forward.”
Fox International currently sponsors leading sea angler Alan Yates, and current England team member Chris Clark. Fox International also sponsors the NFSA Junior Team.
“The current range of Fox Sea products, developed in conjunction with Alan and Chris, has been brilliantly received. Magazine reviews have been extremely positive with similar on-the-bank user comments giving us the confidence to expand further. There are many exciting new launches planned for later this year, hopefully in time to help the England Team win the World Championships,” commented Steve.
The NFSA Fox Sea Team England will be competing in the 25th World Championships in France over the week of September 21st-28th.
Team manager, Richard Prosser, had this to say about the partnership:
“It gives the England Shore Angling Team great pleasure to join forces with the widely recognised tackle company, Fox Sea, for the coming World Championships in France. With their forward-thinking and dynamic new range of sea rods and future product launches, we are sure the England and Fox combination will be positive and successful.”
