Entries are now open for a Charity Cup match organised by the NFA East Midlands Region on Tuesday 9th December to raise funds for The First World War Memorial Fund of the Sherwood Foresters and The Families Fund for the Mercian Regiment.
The match will be fished at the well known venue, Lindholme Lakes where 50 pegs will be used on the fishery’s prolific Bonsai Lake.
The match entry fee is £20, and is open to all anglers with disabilities who are NFA members. Half of the entry fee will be paid out for prize money to entrants, with the remaining half shared between pegging fees and towards the charity donation. Anglers will also have the opportunity to win some top of the range tackle which will be made available at an auction taking place at the fishery.
The draw will take place at 9am and the match will be fished from 10am-3pm. Please note that places are limited, and the deadline for entries is 25th November. Anglers wishing to take part in the match and support these two worth while charities should contact Rod Parker on 07711 281 270 to book your place.
