Martin Jauncey took advantage of a River Severn carrying extra water to net the best zander of the year so far at 16lb 4oz specimen.

The Worcester angler, who has had zander to over 20lb in the UK, floatfished a small roach livebait on a single hook from the bank and took the specimen just as light faded.
