The last round of the Cornerstone AC series on the Grand Union Canal at Small Heath was really worth the wait, with the stretch showing its true colours.

The top six all weighed in double figures and there were another eight bags over 5lb – fantastic canal fishing. It was all pole, bloodworm and joker on the day but in milder conditions you can catch well here on punch and pinkie tactics too.

Top weight went to Lewis Breeze with an excellent 16-5-0, with Neil Martin second on 15-12-2. Trabucco Red took the title in a close finish.
