BASED in Macclesfield, the job involves contracting fishing trips abroad, direct sell marketing in the UK, and turning telephone enquirers into customers. Arrangements have to be made about travel and payments, all within a policy of excellent customer service. The job involves travelling to research new fishing products.
Essentials are: solid experience in selling custom itineraries and in overseas contracting. You need to be a fisherman (or woman) yourself, and want the challenge of running a fast-growing specialist tour operating business. Desirable: experience of fly fishing abroad, writing copy for specialist holiday products, and direct consumer marketing. Probable age range 25-45.
