At the South Lagoon this week there has been an rather unseasonable catch of Tench. Angler Steve Dimock had a large fish of 7lb 8oz and Kevin Farrell had a mixed net of Tench and Bream , the best bream weighed 6lb plus while the largest Tench weighed in at 8lb 8oz.
 The Junior anglers have been fishing the Lagoon with some success this week,  Alex Sole-Leris had pike of 5lb nd 6lb, while Jack Kemp had a real “red letter” day he fished small course dead baits to temp Zander of 9lb and another of 9lb 4oz along with five Pike to 8lb.
Simon Heath was again among the fish this week taking  Zander of 9lb 9oz, 9lb, 8lb and 6lb along with a 16lb Pike.
Bailiff Danny had two Zander this week one of 8lb and another of 9lb. He reports that the Lagoon is also producing plenty of  small fish to float fished maggot baits with skimmers and Roach showing well.
 
On the river at the Wyboston complex most anglers are catching good numbers of fish again on maggot baits. There are lots of Roach and Perch to had all along the section.
 
On North house lake there have more anglers fishing this week and consequently mode fish reported being caught. The best fish was a 28lb common taken by regular lady angler Julie Murfin, Paddy Burns reported a mirror of 21lb 12oz .
Father and son fishing together Bruce Starling had a 20lb 8oz common while son David still a junior had two commons one of 11lb 14oz and one of 14lb,
 
One the canal Alf the bailiff reports there are still plenty of fish being caught on most sections and that many anglers are travelling from the London area to fish on our sections of the canal due to the fishing being so good !.
One angler at the Globe had 8 Bream along with some carp, others fishing the section had taken mainly Bream most fish were taken on pellet.
 
The Luton match group made trip onto the river this week and fished on the Ouse at Biddenham first was R.Lear with 5lb 5oz second was R. Salmon with 5lb 3oz and third was M.Astle with 4lb 12oz.  12 anglers fished. Next weeks match is on  theTown south section of the canal.
