Moorlands Farm hit some good form in the last week, with 11 ton-up weights recorded in open matches in the last seven days.

Top of the pile was the 134-2-0 weighed in by Alan Higgs in the Friday evening open. Alan drew peg 32 on Meadow in a match that also saw Paul Cartwright and Barry Blizard weigh in over 100lb. One bag that caught TF’s eye fell to the rod of Roman Skura. He won the Thursday open on Meadow with 73-4-0 of carp – all caught on pole-fished mussels!
