Spanish big fish specialist David Aldana has contacted us to let us know that he’s set a new Guadalquivir Reservoir record for the Andaluz barbel (luciobarbus sclateri) at 10.2kg (22lb 7oz).
David used a 20mm Robin Red boilie on a size 6 VMC at the venue in Southern Spain to deter any smaller fish. This is his 11th barbel over 10kg!!!
