This week has still seen some cracking fishing with silver fish being the main targets despite the heavy over night frosts ide roach and bream and skimmers have been the main species being caught on maggot feeder or ground bait feeder in deeper water also fishing worm and caster on the pole has seen good mixed bags been caught on bowes lake ,on look out lake maggot and 4mm expander pellet fished in a cloud of ground bait or pellet on the pole can get you some bonus carp.
