Wow what a week for catches some quality and quantity being caught, Mike Young from Peterlee had a pristine common of 16lb 10oz then got snapped of by a much bigger fish plus constant doubles on Bowes peg 16, and has had some cracking fishing through the night as he is a season ticket holder.
Simon West from crook caught a 21lb 2oz mirror on banded angel pellt surrounded by paste (conker) made out of angel 3mm pellets, this was caught at his feet in 3 ft water the tail was out of the water when the carp was feeding.
Peg 17 and 18 on Bowes are catching some great Bream best out 9lb 13oz as well as carp double figures and silvers.
Lookout is fishing fantastic with all pegs producing mostly up in the water peg 21 produced 27 crucians to 2lb 10oz by Alan White from Conset all caught on banded angel 6mm pellets,
Peg 32 has produced all week with all species being caught from here lots of good sized carp as well , the island is producing on all pegs some cracking tench both golden, and green to 7lb 1oz coming of the island and some of the ghosties in double figures also coming of the island, peg 16aa is still as productive as ever lots and lots of fish being caught from this peg,
Bassetts is as productive as ever with fish a chuck from gudgeon to 8lb 3oz carp by a 9 yr old Penny Moore her first day learning to fish what a great start
Hook baits try angel pellet, paste, cubes of meat, prawns, mussel, sweetcorn, soft pellets, feed angel pellets to keep fish in swim at this water temperature they are very hungry, if soaking angel pellets try some coke drink to soak them in adds sugar and taste fish love in warm water temperatures. Groundbait mixed with hemp also good to feed and keep fish in the swim.
