Barston Lakes will host the prestigious Kamasan British Open on August 7th.
The Solihull venue run by Nigel Harrhy at West Midlands Golf Club holds a prolific head of skimmers, F1s and carp, fishes at its best in the warmer months, and is likely to produce a crackerjack final for the competitors who top the Anglers Mail run competition for open match anglers. It’s also spectator friendly with excellent parking and facilities. Kamasan’s Kevin Cross said: “I’m always keen to move the final around the country and Barston has been recommended to me on many occasions.”
