Midlands teams enjoyed a brilliant final of the 2012 Sensas Challenge on the Gloucester Canal, filling the top three places.

The 16 team event was fished to international rules with Daiwa Gordon League winning their way through to October’s European final by five points from the two Kamasan teams from Birmingham. Gordon League know the venue inside out and after noticing that the roach were not feeding as they should in the run-up, they targeted the venue’s bigger bream and tench successfully.
