Owner Mervyn Woodley says he does not want any more sleepless nights trying to keep the business afloat, citing a ‘losing battle’ against internet shopping as the key reason.

Mervyn told local newspaper the Barking and Dagenham Post:  “The last two years have been really difficult,” he said. “We just can’t make a living anymore.  I’m just going to have a nice Christmas, and then I’ll go and look for a job. I don’t have any real plans, but I’m sure I’ll find something.
