The Angling Trust RiverFest fourth qualifier for 2015 took place on the River Trent on the Newark Dyke and East Stoke on Sunday 12th July with 60 fishing.
The river was low and clear with weather conditions of showers and wind with the venue fishing hard on the day.
Top 6 results
1st Barry Thomas (Ted Carter Southport) – 30 lbs 12 oz on peg 3 Newark Dyke with 10 bream up to 3 lbs each on the groundbait feeder with worms and dead maggots.
2nd Clyde Inglis (Angling Baits) – 17 lbs on peg 1 on the Newark Dyke with 4 bream and 1 skimmer on the groundbait feeder.
3rd Alan Houlton (Lincs County) – 13 lbs 5 oz on peg 70 on the Newark Dyke with skimmers on the groundbait feeder.
4th Frederick Prudham – 13 lbs 2 oz on peg 7 on the Newark Dyke with skimmers on the groundbait feeder.
5th Danny Ashington (Kamasan Starlets) 11 lb 4 oz on peg 56 on the Newark Dyke.
6th Hadrian Whittle (Kamasan Starlets) 10 lb 11 ½ oz

The next RiverFest qualifier is on Sunday 19th July on the River Tyne at Corbridge to Wylam.
