Apart from the display of the latest rods, reels, lines and accessories from the brands of Hardy Bros. Hardy and Greys, the Hardy & Greys marquee at this year’s Game Fair will have more attractions than ever before.
Reel Clinic
For the first time at the Game Fair Hardy & Greys will be providing a free reel clinic service.
Anglers will be able to bring their old or modern Hardy or Greys reels onto the stand where Hardy & Greys reel expert Charlie Norris will be able to clean and lubricate the reels with a free mini service. Charles will also be able to answer questions relating to Hardy or Greys reels.
Hardy Bros. Cane Rod Workshop
Tom Moran and Calum Gladstone from the newly extended cane department in Alnwick will be demonstrating the art of cane rod building from actually splitting the bamboo to casting the rods. This will also be the first opportunity for the public to cast the exquisite new Hardy Bros. Moran and Gladstone rods. If like most you are used to carbon rods, the new very efficient cane tapers are a joy to cast and offer surprising levels of performance and a unique feel.
Hardy & Greys Demonstration Area
Casting and fishing demonstrations will take place in the dedicated Hardy & Greys casting area behind the marquee.
Members of Hardy & Greys Team England will be demonstrating their winning tactics and methods, Hardy & Greys Academy members will also be demonstrating and teaching all casting techniques and world Speycasting champion Ian Gordon will be talking all things Salmon and demonstrating the finest Speycasting styles.
Hardy & Greys Rod Testing
A large range of both Hardy and Greys fly rods will be available to test in the exclusive Hardy & Greys casting area. This will include the new Hardy Zenith and Proaxis SINTRIX™ rods which since their launch have been the the most sought after fly rods worldwide.
The Hardy & Greys marquee will be at the centre of Fishermans Village with the demonstration area backing onto the River Glyme.
