BT Sport’s new angling show, produced by Fishing TV, will broadcast for the first time on the 25th September at 7pm on BT Sport 2.

The first of the eight-part series includes carp angler Ian “Chilly” Chillcott and Game Fisher’s Diary presenter Rae Borras as they go fishing for carp at Hollybush Lake, as well as short excerts of some of Fishing TV’s exciting shows including Bob James catching chub on the River Wye, and Dave Barham afloat with the British Conger club.  

Guest stars throughout the series will includes avid anglers Des Taylor and Julian Chidgey. The second and third series are due to air at the start of 2015.

Not only will the show include useful hints, tips and advice for keen anglers but aims to convey the essence and aesthetics of fishing to appeal to a wider auidence.

During the broadcast of the first episode, viewers have the chance to get involved by joining Fishing TV’s live discussion on their very own Twitter page, where they have the opportunity to have  their questions answered by the team and comment on the show.
