After a cool start to the day, fish failed to feed shallow until very late in the match and once again the feeder anglers dominated the results in the Wednesday Affordable Kobra Open on Lake 2 at BW Makins..

Continuing his remarkable run with four wins in the last six Wednesdays was Long Eaton angler John Adamson (Kobra Feeders).  Fishing from peg B13, John fished method feeder with pellet bait to take 32 carp for 162 lb 4 oz.

Runner up Phil Porter (Rugby) took second spot from peg A8 with 82 lb taken on method feeder baited with dead red maggot, with Jim Marshall (Nuneaton) third from peg A15 with a pole caught 62 lb 12 oz.

Lake 2 has become available on 12 September, so there will now be a match that day.  Draw in the Phase 1 car park at 8.45am.
