The Coventry Canal didn’t fish at its best for the latest round of the Winter League, fished at Springwood and Hartshill, Nuneaton.

Rob Chambers, fishing for Maver Tipton Van den Eynde, provided the only double figure wight of the day, a 15-8-12 bag of roach and skimmers caught on pole, bloodworm and joker, with Jason Cunningham (Shakespeare) in second on 7-4-0. Shakespeare Mach III won the day but Shakespeare Superteam take over at the top of the league after three rounds.
