Shrewsbury tackle shop Total Angling has won trade backing for a new River Classic series this winter on the Severn, leading to a prestigious final.

In these days which are dominates by commercial fisheries, organiser and shop assistant manager Andy Jones has done really well to win sponsorship from Preston Innovations, Maver, MAP, Garbolino, Fox Match, Sensas and Sonubaits, and as a result he can expect.
Four qualifiers, each backed by two of the sponsors, will be fished from October, with the top four anglers plus four section winners going through to a 32-man final on Sunday December 4th.  The dates for the diary are October 9th, October 23rd, October 30th, November 6th.
