Birmingham club Cornerstone AC is running a new series of matches over its 50-peg stretch of the Grand Union Canal in the heart of Birmingham near Small Heath Park starting February 25th and running every Saturday after that.

The club has now secured off road parking at both ends of the Golden Hillock Road to Camp Hill bottom lock length, and it’s available to book for club matches at only £3 per peg. I’ve fished the stretch myself and it’s noted for small skimmers, small hybrids and roach, with bloodworm and joker banned and breadpunch and squatt the key tactics.
