A cracking Birmingham Anglers Association match fished on the River Severn at Arley saw the top three weigh in over 50lb.

Colin Harvey drew the end peg in the float only match where he waggler fished maggot for three chub and 11 barbel and an excellent 64lb return.
Daiwa Gordon League’s Brian Pollard also had a great day, weighing in 51-12-0 and Droitwich angler Bob McAulay took 50-2-0 to the scales.
The recent rain should bring the river into tip top condition and there should be some great running water sport on the cards this weekend.
